This is probably of incredible interest to those that are running DOS
sessions under OS/2 Warp v4.0. Some applications that had no problems
under Warp 3.0 are stealing 100% of the processor time with Warp v4.0.
This does fix one of those problems.. Use at your own risk, though I
can assure you that it is working on my system wonderfully...

Hallo David!

Antwort auf eine Message von David Smith an John Meroth:

DS> i set the bbs up as DV aware, and run ostsr to give the slices back.
DS> So maybe Warp 4 doesn't give up slices as good as Version 3 does.

2 out of 4 methods of releasing time slices under MDOS are broken since
Warp 4:

DPMI time slice :
    MOV AX,1680
    INT 2f

CPU halt :
    DX:AX=msecs
    STI
    HLT
    DB 035h,0cah

you can fix the DPMI method with this patch (based on FP1 buildlevel
9.025)
