Now I have finaly bought a monitor !

I have considered the following monitors:
	Nokia445X
	Nokia 447X
	Philips 21BA
	Philips 15A
	Nec XE17
	Nec XP17
	Mag MXP17F
	Mag MXP17S
	Hitachi CM1711
	Samsung 17GLsi

My goal was to find a flickerfree monitor. This demands
minimum 110Hz refresh rate.
The above monitors can do this refresh rate at some resolution.
What resolution is best? For me 17" and 800x600 resolution
is the best choice.

I have tested those monitors (with Matrox MGA millenium) at high
refresh rate:
	Nokia 447V
	Nec XP17
	Mag MXP17S
	Samsung 17GLsi

Result:
Nokia 447V, is underqualified for testing. (Bad)

Nec XP17 , expencive and terrible ! Flicker at all
	refresh rates!

Mag MXP17S , very good, but trinitron tube = two lines
over the display. I can not accept that.

Samsung 17GLsi, excellent! Big surprice for me, for
less money , you get the best monitor!

So, I bought the Samsung 17GLsi. I had to return 2, but the third
monitor was OK.

I have set the refesh rate to:
	640x480	115Hz
	800x600	115Hz	= My default resolution.
	1024x768	100Hz
	1152x870 95Hz
	1280x1024 93Hz

The Samsung 17GLsi monitor I have now is not 100% perfect.
My verdict for the Samsung 17GLsi:
	Geometry; GOOD
	Convergence; OK..GOOD
	Resolution; OK at 800x600
	Moire; VERY GOOD
	Focus; GOOD
	Screen regulation;	VERY GOOD
	Picture stabilty; VERY GOOD
	EMI; VERY GOOD

Compare my verdict for the NEC XP17:
	Geometry; VERY BAD
	Convergence; BAD
	Resolution; OK
	Moire; VERY BAD
	Focus; BAD
	Screen regulation;	GOOD
	Picture stabilty; VERY BAD
	EMI; -
