Here's what you need to download the NetRexx package.
The NetRexx package is available in both zip and
tar+gzip format.
Both forms include:
- documentation, in HTML and plain-ASCII form
- the NetRexx class files; these are the Rexx class
files that carry out decimal arithmetic, etc.; they should work
on all Java platforms.
- the NetRexx translator; the The prototype
translator is written in Rexx and is in the process of being ported to
NetRexx (at which point, it should run on all Java platforms). In the
meantime, you can try it on OS/2.
The NetRexx documentation and software are distributed free of charge
under the conditions of the IBM OS/2 Employee Written Software
programme. If you download or use the NetRexx package you agree
to the terms in the IBM License Agreement for
OS/2 Tools. Please read it before downloading.
To view the documentation you need a text editor or a Web browser.
To run the software, you will need the Java runtime and toolkit (from
the beta or 1.x Java development kit) installed on your target machine.
For more information on these:

nrinst.doc from the package you downloaded.
- Once unpacked into a directory, you can view all the NetRexx
